Why Community Supported Agriculture?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a emerging business model bringing together small farms and those who wish to support the local food movement. Members purchase a share of the harvest at the beginning of the season and in return receive a weekly share of the farm’s production of fresh organic veggies. CSA programs help farmers plan their planting and harvest schedules and guarantee customers first choice of the freshest produce.
